Weddings are the time when the bride has all the excuses to want to be very beautiful. And why not? She has prepared for this big day for several months and paid good cash to make it a success. She therefore has to be the most beautiful girl ever.

Among the ways to achieve this effect is to use accessories that complement the casual wedding dresses of the bride and the bridesmaids as well. However, because there is the dire want to be really pleasing to look at, most brides and her maids tend to over-accessorize resulting to devastating outcomes.

1. Try to see first if the pieces are formal or just casual wedding dresses. If these are formal, then the accessories should also go with its formality. And if these are simple and casual, then these should be paired with less formal accessories.

2. This next suggestion has really no scientific explanation. It is just a mere superstition. They say that the bride should never use pearl earrings especially if these are dangling. This is because, according to the old people, pearls look like teardrops which may be a bad thing for the bride. But if bride does not believe in this, pearls will actually look very expensive and sophisticated. I wore them on my wedding day myself.

3. Accessories are not limited to jewelries alone. The bridesmaids may wear head dresses or simple cloth headbands. If they have this, there is no more need to use any ribbon or clip on the hair.

Other accessories for the hair include tiny diamonds pinned everywhere and fresh flowers.

4. The bride should not wear a wristwatch with her casual wedding dress. This also goes true for the bridesmaids. If she is already wearing a necklace, she must make sure that her earrings are not too big because these will bring the focus towards the upper part of the body and make it look too heavy.

It would also be better if the accessories are plain. If they are silver, then they should be plain silver.
